Saeed Al Gergawi is the founder and chief beekeeper of Native, a Dubai-based beekeeping start-up, aiming to create positive impact on the UAE’s local ecosystem in partnership with Honeybees. Saeed’s love for good quality honey and happy bees took him to New Zealand to discover the two main components of successful beekeeping: a thriving local botanical environment and the working relationship between honeybees and their beekeeper. Native provides beehive rentals as a nature-based solution and produces local honey to a variety of corporate and private clients allowing them to achieve their sustainability goals, improve their LEED green building certification level, and enjoy the sweet taste of their ecosystem with their own local honey.

Saeed is also the Director of the Dubai Future Foundation and sits on the Advisory Board of Popular Science Arabia.
