Ekaterina Ghosh

Research Associate


Ekaterina Ghosh is a second-year master’s student at École Polytechnique in Paris, France pursuing a degree in Economics for Smart Cities and Climate Policy; she earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University (SDSU).

Prior to joining Posterity Institute as a Research Associate, she worked as an intern for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in their Environment Directorate, on the International Program for Action on Climate (IPAC). Ekaterina’s work on IPAC entailed developing a methodological paper for the quantification of emission targets reported in countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), to complete an IPAC indicator set enabling the tracking of countries’ distance from emission targets complementary to the UNFCCC and Paris Agreement frameworks.

During her studies at SDSU, Ekaterina worked at a university think tank, the Center for Advancing Global Business (CAGB), which is funded in part by the United States Congress with the purpose of leveraging academia and research for US business competitiveness worldwide.
